Geocell Driveway provides load support and stability to base layers of gravel, rock, soil or sand. It greatly increases the lateral strength of the layer and prevents the filling from moving or being pushed sideways. The increase in strength can reduce the amount of material needed to form a solid foundation and save the user time, money and resources.

Geocell Driveway greatly reduces erosion caused by weather and heavy or repetitive traffic. The perforation pattern through each cell and weld allows water to drain freely without flushing the material. The textured surface provides additional material retention. It is ideal for building erodible slopes and embankments, as well as driveways, roads, parking lots, trails, and more.

Geocell was used on the civil engineering community in the early 1980’s. In the commercial market, geocells solve many site problems – from steep slopes to shorelines and channels to multi-layered vegetated retaining walls, mining, oil & gas, and wind access roads, railroads, ports, dams and landfills. When filled with granular materials, Geocell creates a three dimensional erosion barrier and structural bridge that uniformly distributes weight-bearing loads. The cellular nature of Geocell enhances drainage and prevents build-up of hydrostatic pressure.
